Web-to-Print® Press Operator - Pressure Sensitive - $20.75-$22/Hour (3rd Shift) - De Pere, WI

Welcome Home! Belmark is seeking individuals to join our team at our Pressure Sensitive plant in De Pere, WI. You may be wondering - what do we do here at Belmark? Well, we create many of the labels, cartons, and flexible film we as consumers see daily when shopping for various items. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation of the HP Indigo Press Technology utilized in production in the Web-to-Print ® Division. Must be responsive to customer needs. Overtime and flexible hours will be required. Expected to operate the machine at the highest efficiency possible while following standard operating procedures and work instructions to produce a high quality product. Schedule:

  • 3rd shift hours are from 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. on Sunday; 12:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m., Monday - Thursday
  • Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours
  • Overtime after 36 hours!
  • Employees on this shift work 36 hours and are paid for 40 hours. Many of our employees enjoy the rotating shift due to the days off received, which allows for time to accomplish things around the home and spend time with friends and family!

Pay:

  • $20.75 - $22 per Hour
  • The shift differential for 3rd shift is $2.00 more per hour

What will I do in this role?

  • Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
  • Responsible for complying with and following all standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to set standards.
  • Perform all job tasks utilizing required personal protective equipment and correct safety procedures.
  • Web the press.
  • Clean the press.
  • Perform routine press maintenance.
  • Complete the necessary paperwork.
  • Understand and properly utilize HP DFE Software
  • Keep work area and machine organized and clean.
  • Responsible for meeting the 48 hour stated turn around objective.
  • May cross train in other areas of Web-to-Print ®
  • May operate In Line Die Cutting Equipment.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
  • Ability to effectively navigate and operate a computer.
  • Must have excellent problem solving skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
  • Ability to give, receive and analyze information.
  • Ability to: stand and walk for 80% of work time; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 20% of work time.
  • Ability to: see clearly at 20 inches or less; see clearly at 20 feet or more; identify and distinguish colors; observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point; judge distances and spatial relationships; and to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
  • Ability to: use hands for 100% of work time; reach above shoulders for 50% of work time; and use feet to operate machines for 30% of work time.
  • Ability to lift: 10 pounds or less 25% of work time; 25 pounds or less 30% of work time; 50 pounds or less 25% of work time; and may lift 100 pounds or less 5% of work time.
  • May lift 100 pounds or more.
  • May be required to use sense of smell.
