Marketing Sales Support Specialist

Location: De Pere, WI

The Marketing Sales Support Specialist role is crucial in the sales process and represents one of Belmark’s earliest opportunities to showcase our core value of speed-to-market. As a key support for the teams, this role demands the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities within a fun, collaborative environment.

Reports to: Marketing Sales Support Manager

Status: Full Time

FLSA: Non-exempt (Hourly)

Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri; on-site in De Pere office

What will I do in this role?

  • Manages and executes customer sample request process and fulfillment within a timely manner, maintaining sample supply room inventory along with corresponding inventory sheet.
  • Develops professional skills by collaborating cross-functionally to standardize and streamline the sample-request process, taking ownership of continuous efficiency improvements.
  • Executes process for collecting and filing additional samples, including continuous review of available samples, ensuring the most current representations are available in inventory, and that QA checks are completed during receipt of samples and as requests are being completed.
  • Identifies needed sales kits including industry kits, new sales rep training and sales tools, etc. Coordinates and oversees fulfillment of kits.
  • Updates and maintains Belmark product display areas, manages process for securing first order plaques, corporate calendars, employee name plates, etc.
  • Assists marketing team with various projects including, but not limited to, process development, event execution, lead/data entry, presentation development/editing
  • Manages day-to-day requests and functions within the marketing and sales support areas.
  • Special project assistance.
  • Interacts with management and sales on on-going basis.
  • May be required to travel.
  • Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must understand and be passionate about accurate reflection of Belmark’s mission of speed, quality, service throughout all functions of the role.
  • Must be able to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects at once to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to communicate providing verbal and written feedback in a professional and understanding manner.
  • Must be able to analyze many variables and choose the most effective course of action for the organization at any given point in time.
  • Ability to give, receive and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials and articulate goals and action plans.
  • Ability to operate a computer and a variety of standard office equipment.
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed written and oral instructions.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of the position. May be required to work some overtime.
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing and sales principals.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must adapt well to change and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must be assertive and capable of self-direction and personal goal setting.
  • Must be able to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
  • Requires education as is generally acquired with a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Requires nearly constant concentration and attention to detail.
  • Ability to: stand and walk for 90% of work time; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 10% of work time.
  • Ability to: use hands for 100% of work time; reach above shoulders for 50% of work time; and use feet to operate machines for 30% of work time.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds or less 20% of work time. May lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to: see clearly at 20 inches or less; and clearly identify and distinguish colors.

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment.
  • May be some exposure to vibrations, noise and chemical odors.
