Graphics Service Manager

Function:

The Graphics Service Manager is responsible for leading a high-performing graphics team focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences through quality, speed, and efficiency. This role oversees graphics workflows, process improvement initiatives, team development, customer and vendor onboarding, and print quality standards across multiple business units. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with expertise in graphic production, print technologies, and continuous improvement.

Schedule:

  • 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Graphics Service team to achieve goals related to quality, accuracy, speed, productivity, and customer experience.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and establish best practices, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Partner with internal teams, customers, and vendors to ensure efficient graphics approvals and onboarding processes.
  • Serve as the primary technical resource for graphics workflows, print specifications, and process optimization.
  • Oversee staffing, employee development, performance management, and training within the department.
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and departmental initiatives.
  • Support issue resolution, urgent customer requests, CAPA investigations, and quality management programs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and quality standards.
  • Support customer press approvals, presentations, and other business-related activities as needed.
  • Occasional travel, overtime, or weekend work may be required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 3 to 5 years of graphics, color correction, or related industry experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Esko Automation Engine, WebCenter, and related graphics software.
  • Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, layout composition, and print production processes.
  • Experience with flexographic, offset, and digital printing; expanded gamut printing knowledge preferred.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and print equipment, including presses, laminators, rewinders, and converting equipment.
  • Proven leadership, team development, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with PC and Mac operating systems and business software applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to distinguish colors and visually evaluate graphics and print quality.
